Release of "Piano Sonata No. 6, Op. 8" and "Fantasy for Piano & Orchestra in B Minor, Op. 8" on EcoRecord
I am thrilled to announce that my "Piano Sonata No. 6, Op. 8" and my "Fantasy for Piano & Orchestra in B Minor, Op. 8" are now available on EcoRecord!
In collaboration with THORENS, one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality turntables, we have released
"OESTLIND - BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN WORLDS"
on EcoRecord. This innovative approach significantly reduces the
environmental impact of the production process by up to 85% compared to conventional methods. Coldplay released the world's first album as a 140g EcoRecord PET LP in October 2024 ("Moon Music").

Notably, my release marks the first EcoRecord production within the classical music genre. My new album titled 'Lullabies That Span The World' will be released on February, 28th, 2025
I have composed 12 titles for this album - all track names can be translated in English with the word 'Lullaby'. A new single will be released every three to four weeks - may many children in this world be able to fall asleep quickly with these compositions. here

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Goetz Oestlind (original spelling Dr. Götz Östlind) studied piano under Conrad Hansen‘s alumni Gisela Stumme and Prof. Lev Natochenny. He completed his studies of Applied Cultural Studies with a Master‘s degree (M.A.) and earned his Ph.D. with his dissertation on ‚Counterpoint in Film Music‘.
In 2006 he composed his first international TV commercials for NIVEA (‚The Secret in Baby‘s Skin‘ and ‚Plunging Neckline‘), in 2010 his first film score for the arte production ‚Angriff aus dem Nichts‘. He became the competition king in Europe's biggest TV show, ‚Wetten, dass..?‘, in 2006 with his absolute pitch and, as part of the piano duo ‚David & Götz‘, he has played more than 700 concerts so far.
In the past years, he has established himself worldwide as a well-known composer and won the prestigious ‚Hollywood Music in Media Award‘ in the category ‚Outstanding Instrumental Performance‘ in 2021.
The U.S. American ‚Richmond Ballet‘ performed the acclaimed world premiere ‚Jahreszeiten‘, which musically consisted of Oestlind‘s Piano Sonatas in 2021. Twelve other performances followed. The ‚Czech National Symphony Orchestra‘ recorded his ‚Fantasy for Piano & Orchestra in B Minor, Op. 8‘ with pianist Sergey Belyavsky in Prague.
His compositions have been streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and others.
For me and for the power of music, it is the greatest gift of all
